Since the Daly Fund Scholarships were first awarded in 1922, there have been more than 2,000 scholarship recipients. Many more have received Collins McDonald, Anna Jones, Burt Snyder, or Ousley Fund scholarships, all of which were influenced by the Daly Fund. Today, almost a hundred after the Daly Fund was established, Lake County has the most endowed funds for higher education of any county in America.
