YES!!! I use the movies and Youtube shorts all the time! Large teams of people have spent millions of dollars and years of time creating them. No need to recreate the wheel. And the students LOVE them – with reason. Youtube shorts are mixed in with lectures. And movies can form the basis for required or extra credit discussion boards.

Indeed, connecting videos with textbooks is a hard task. There are lots of online virtual tools for my course materials, but it is the way it needs to be connected to the course materials that I teach in the context of public health data analysis.
