Step Two: Learning to Grow

November 28th, 2011

My mind is a mess. So much to do and yet so little time. I am ready to explore and to find something new. I am ready to rid myself of these stresses, of this kinks, and of our society. I need a culture shock; something to reset my body so that I may learn all over again. If all I have to do to become a young moldable mind again is to push reset, then let India be my reset. I want to rid myself of expectations and reservations. I am ready to stand with my eyes wide open, my heart open, and my mind open to accept another world. I want to change at least some part of this world and to do so requires me to see the world. I am taking my next step. Step one is my home and what I have already experienced thus far. Step two is India. It is getting out there and absorbing everything in hopes to turn this experience around to educate others about the treasures they may find by exploring. We need to relax from the hustle and bustle and do what we were born to do: to find new things and to go on adventures.  I have such a great urge to get away and go on these adventures. I find that doing so enables one to reflect on what we already have and how we can further utilize the opportunities and skills that often get taken for granted.

I want my life to be like a lyric. I want it to flow and to have edge and for its notes to climb high and fall low. Everything should be done with meaning. I hope for India to be a crescendo in my life’s song, pushing me to become stronger and more educated. India is a chance for my soul to grow and for me to become a better person.

I am ready and willing. Lets pack it up and go!

Stoked!
