Welcome back from the CoF Student Services Office! We’ve been working hard while you’ve been enjoying your vacation, and here are some of the things you can expect to come your way this Winter.
Survey
The Student Services Office is in the midst of finalizing an assessment survey. Completing this online survey will go a long way in helping us to provide programs and services that you think would be useful. Keep your eye out for a link to be sent to your ONID email account.
Pre-Job Fair Workshops
Career Services is sending it’s staff to Richardson 313 on January 10 and 11 @ 1:00pm. These sessions will help you to clean up your resumes and assist you with interview skills. Immediately following the January 11 workshop, Aaron Schneider from Siuslaw National Forest will be available to discuss what federal employers like to see from their applicants in terms of resumes and interviews.

1st Year Retention Initiative
Student success is our primary concern in the Student Services Office. Students who did not perform well in their first quarter at OSU will be first in line to receive contact from us so that we can put students on the right track towards success in the University. After that, all first year students will be contacted so we can get a better sense of what has gone well and what hasn’t for you so far in at Oregon State and in the College of Forestry.
*Update!
Lone Rock Timber Company will now be in Peavy 104! That change is also reflected above.
*Update!
Longview Timber has changed its date to January 26! That change is reflected above.
