The Clackamas County Extension Community Report is now available.\u00a0 The 16-page tabloid was published in cooperation with the Pamplin Media Group.\u00a0 The tabloid appeared in the following community newspapers the last week of April, 2011: Sandy Post, Estacada News, Oregon City News, Clackamas Review, West Linn Tidings, Lake Oswego Review, Wilsonville Spokesman, Canby Herald and Molalla Pioneer.\u00a0 The circulation was 50,000 copies.<\/p>\n
\u201cExtension\u2019s Community Report provides a look at the university\u2019s work in our county,\u201d said Mike Bondi, Oregon State University\u2019s Staff Chair at the Clackamas County Extension office.\u00a0 In addition, Bondi is the Interim Director at OSU\u2019s North Willamette Research and Extension Center (NWREC) at Aurora\u2014also, in Clackamas County.\u00a0 The report includes information Extension\u2019s programs in the county\u20144-H, Family and Community Health, Forestry and Natural Resources and Agriculture.\u00a0 Several pages of the report focus specifically on agricultural topics and the work of the faculty and staff at NWREC.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cOur goal with the Community Report is to showcase our key education programs, outreach, and research for the past year\u2014and the difference these activities make in people\u2019s lives here in our communities.\u201d\u00a0 Copies of the Clackamas County Extension Community Report can be obtained at the Extension office in Oregon City or at NWREC in Aurora.<\/p>\n
