The primary functions of the WEDA Executive Director are to:

  • Serve .25 FTE as the National Executive Director, working as part of a collaborative team to advance the Cooperative Extension System nationally.
  • Identify and provide initial leadership for major opportunities, potential partners, and potential resources to support current Extension programs and/or expand Extension programs in the West.
  • Provide support for the WEDA organizational priorities.
  • Maintain an electronic repository for the products of WEDA including the strategic plan, meeting materials, list serves, directories, committee list, contracts, etc.
