Mission

To reduce the ‘leak’ in the STEM pipeline by supporting women in their efforts to earn a Bacherlor’s degree in a STEM major and encouraging them to choose a STEM career path.

Goals

To create mentoring partnerships between women in STEM careers and women who have chosen STEM majors in college.

Create the initial pool of mentors The website has at least 5 mentors signed up June 2015
Create the initial pool of community colleges that will promote STEMLinks among their female STEM students At least one community college is signed up June 2015
Promote website through SEO STEMLinks.net is discoverable using keywords like STEM, mentor, career advice etc. June 2015
Connect with STEMulate to create mentoring partnerships between STEMLinks students and K-12 students At 2 students from each community college are working with STEMulate to mentor local high school/middle school students Dec 2015
