Ecampus Success Counseling
Success Counselors work in partnership with students to improve academic skills, to identify support resources, and to address obstacles to academic success at OSU. Q: Are there any tutoring opportunities available to me as an OSU Ecampus student?
Online Tutoring – OSU Ecampus students have access to free tutoring online through NetTutor.
OSU Extended Campus students can follow these steps to access their free online tutoring:
1) Enable pop-ups in your browser
2) You will first log into Canvas and select your course
3) In the side navigation, select “Tools”
4) Select NetTutor
NOTE: If you are an instructor and the Communication section for your course is disabled, you will find the NetTutor icon in the “Tools” section.

Q: I’m going through a really stressful time and think that I really need to talk to a mental health professional.
Ecampus students do not have access to CAPS and should access a provider in their local area.
OSU Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is available to consult with faculty, staff, and administrators who are concerned about another person’s urgent mental health concerns. Call 541-737-2131 if you have an immediate need to speak with a mental health professional.

Q: I’m having trouble with my computer. Who should I contact?
Computer Help Desk – Provides both phone and email support for technical issues relating to your operating system, software, etc. They can be reached at 541-737-3474 or by email.
Canvas – There are a variety of options for assistance in with Canvas. You can click the Help link in the upper right hand corner in any course site. You can find helpful answers in the Canvas Student Guide. There is also 24/7 support by calling 1-844-329-3084.
