On May 18, 2013 from 1 to 5 pm, 5 students including myself worked together on the riverfront raking leaves, pulling weeds, pruning, and all together making the riverfront a healthier environment, and more aesthetically pleasing for the viewer, as it  is one of the most visited parks in Corvallis, Oregon.  There are also many local markets, walking/running events, and community activities that call the Riverfront Park home. Our project adviser was Steve McGettigan, who was very helpful in showing us all the proper ways of care taking of the riverfronts natural environment and keeping it in a healthy state. The Riverfront landscape is now ready for the spring visitors.
