The field of study might include agriculture, biology, botany, biochemistry, entomology, forestry, horticulture, or landscape design.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements for scholarship applicant (current college student):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Completed application along with a current photograph<\/p>\n<p><em>Official<\/em> college transcript(s)<\/p>\n<p>Two current<em> (written within the last 12 months)<\/em> letters of recommendation, dated and signed<\/p>\n<p>Telephone interview with Coos County Master Gardener Scholarship Committee during the<\/p>\n<p>first week in May.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements for Coos County high school graduate\/equivalent applicant:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Completed application along with a current photograph<\/p>\n<p>Official high school transcript or copy of your high school diploma or equivalent<\/p>\n<p>Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better<\/p>\n<p>Acceptance letter to a college or university<\/p>\n<p>Two current (written in the last 12 months) letters of recommendation are required, one of<\/p>\n<p>the two letters should be from an instructor<\/p>\n<p>Application Deadline: April 15<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/extension.oregonstate.edu\/coos\/Mg\/MGScholarshipProgram\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/extension.oregonstate.edu\/coos\/Mg\/MGScholarshipProgram<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Coos County High School graduates\/equivalent AND\/OR current legal Coos County resident\/s, to further their education by obtaining a degree in a plant&#8211;related field.
