Johnston Ceramics Scholarship- $2,000"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ellice T. Johnston was an inspiration and guiding light. In her memory\u00a0Clayfolk has created this annual scholarship so that the support she provided to so many can live on in her honor.\u00a0The purpose of the scholarship is to\u00a0further ceramic art students education through upper division college or art school courses,\u00a0workshops through accredited institutions, and\u00a0study abroad through accredited institutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two years of college or equivalent level of art\u00a0education which \u00a0may include sculpture, drawing,\u00a0design, etc. and the study of aesthetics or technical\u00a0ceramics.<\/li>\n<li>The applicant must be a resident or student in\u00a0Oregon or Northern California.<\/li>\n<li>Financial need is a consideration but will not restrict\u00a0the selection of the applicant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Submission Deadline: April<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.clayfolk.org\/membership\/scholarships\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.clayfolk.org\/membership\/scholarships\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ellice T.
