By creating this scholarship we want to encourage students to think critically about what the world will look like in 5 or 10 years.\u00a0 You will have to write an essay (minimum of 750 words) on one of the topics listed on our website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: 'Roboto',serif\">Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident of the United States and be at least 17 years of age.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Incoming freshmen must show proof of admission into a university\/college for the 2016 academic year, by either sending a copy of the admission letter or requesting a university official email stating their admission<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;font-family: 'Roboto',serif\">Minimum GPA required for current university students is 2.25<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deadline: <\/strong>September 1st<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the scholarship or to apply, follow this link:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vidgotv.com\/scholarship\/\">http:\/\/www.vidgotv.com\/scholarship\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VidgoTV is proud to announce the annual $2,000 VidgoTV.com scholarship.\u00a0VidgoTV\u00a0believes great technology will enhance our lives in ways we have not yet envisioned.
