Point Foundation (Point) empowers the next generation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) leaders to reach their full leadership and academic potential. Point provides its scholars with the financial ability to attend the higher education institution of their choice. We know how enjoyable it is to play with rc toys. From grown ups to kids. That’s why many of our fellow rc enthusiast have noticed a huge change in technology since rc toys were first created. Although we have also noticed that not a lot of the younger crowd are too interested in remote control toys. As a result we have created a scholarship for undergraduates. We are hoping that this will spark some interest in you guys. The winner of it will receive a 500$ award!

This is a annual $1,000 scholarship from Fellows Hymowitz for exceptional students pursuing a degree. Students who wish to apply should write a short paper on “How Adversity Has Affected Your Life.” Applicants must submit a 750 word essay explaining an adversity they have dealt with in life, how they overcame it, and how this shaped them to be the person they are today.

Study Without Borders do not award our scholarships based on your previous academic performance. Instead we will judge the winner based on what you contribute to the study abroad community. Write an original article about a city or a country where you have, or would like to, study abroad. Study abroad in 2017. Your final year undergraduate students are eligible to receive the scholarship to study a masters ‘across the pond’ in the UK after they graduate.

The ASDSO Scholarship Program, established in 1992, awards annual undergraduate scholarships to U.S. citizens enrolled in accredited programs in engineering or related fields and planning careers related to the design, construction, or operation of dams.

Eligibility:

  •  U.S. citizens and enrolled full-time at the senior level in an accredited civil engineering program, or in a related field as determined by ASDSO, and must demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in hydraulics, hydrology or geotechnical disciplines, or in another discipline related to the design, construction and operation of dams.
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.5 for the first three years of college and be recommended by their academic advisor
