Each scholarship award is a value of up to $2,500 for use in connection with tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment required by each winner’s university. If you’re a deal-savvy student currently attending an undergraduate or graduate program at a college or university, or if you will be attending in the fall of 2017, you should apply. Submit an original 500 word essay on how you planned to pay for your college education.

Eligibility:

Addictive substances abuse has killed more people than every American war combined, and more than 10 times over. Many victims of drug addictions feel as though they are fighting a war themselves. Through the years, millions of lives have been damaged due to drug abuse and addiction.

Every year, we select three winners in the essay contest. The winners will receive awards toward their tuition at their respective colleges and universities.

  • Why do you see drug abuse and addiction as a problem for individuals and society?
  • What is the best way for society to overcome the issue of drug abuse, and why?
  • What would an addiction-free world look like, and how would it differ from the world today?

  • Must have taken at least 40 undergraduate credit hours or 10 graduate credit hours.
  • Must have proof of a declared major.
  • Must demonstrate involvement on campus or in the community of attended University or College.
  • Must attach one letter of recommendation on official letterhead.
  • Must submit an essay responding to the question: What can you do to make a difference in your community?
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
  • You must be currently enrolled at your college or university during the time of submission.
  • You must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
