Live video broadcasting first occurred in 1928, on September 11. The screens were small and had such poor resolution that the broadcasted drama only showed the actors’ faces and hands, alternating between dialogue and holding props. In 1962, live TV went into low-earth orbit: the first live programming streamed over satellite happened that year on July 12. The first live video transmission over the internet is not clearly known, but likely occurred either in late 1994 or early 1995.
