Addictive substances abuse has killed more people than every American war combined, and more than 10 times over. Many victims of drug addictions feel as though they are fighting a war themselves. Through the years, millions of lives have been damaged due to drug abuse and addiction.

Every year, we select three winners in the essay contest. The winners will receive awards toward their tuition at their respective colleges and universities.

  • Why do you see drug abuse and addiction as a problem for individuals and society?
  • What is the best way for society to overcome the issue of drug abuse, and why?
  • What would an addiction-free world look like, and how would it differ from the world today?
  • What message do you have for current addicts?

Eligibility:

  • Undergraduate and graduate students who are 18 years old or older.
  • Applicants must be accepted to, or currently enrolled in a college or university located within the United States or in the District of Columbia.

Deadline: May 31st
