  • Applicant must graduate from High School or obtain a GED from one of the following towns: Arlington, Boardman, Echo, Hermiston, Pendleton, Umatilla, Irrigon, Fossil, Condon, Monument, Ukiah, Stanfield, Heppner, Ione, Pilot Rock, or Spray.
  • Must have financial need.
  • Must have a desire to work in a trade.
  • Must attend an Oregon college or trade school (unless the training is not offered in Oregon).

As a result, we are offering a $1,100 BI-ANNUAL scholarship to a current or prospective college student. The scholarship will be awarded to the winner of our essay contest, the details of which are outlined below.

The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults is committed to helping young adults continue their education after being affected by cancer through their own diagnosis or the diagnosis of a loved one.

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must have been between the ages of 15 and 39 during their own diagnosis/treatment or during the diagnosis/treatment of their parent or sibling.
  • Each scholarship winner is obligated to organize and run a bone marrow registry drive with the support of Delete Blood Cancer and There Goes My Hero.

Oregon Farm Bureau Memorial Scholarship Project through the Oregon Farm Bureau Foundation for Education offers scholarships to any Oregon high school graduate or an Oregon home school graduate with a full year of college transcripts, 24 semester or 36 quarter hours, documented by a transcript and proof of parents Oregon residency preparing to continue his/her education through a community college, or a four year college or university, with plans to study in an agriculture and/or forestry related major. Oregon residency is to be confirmed by providing three consecutive land-based utility (power, sewer, water, or landline phone) bills within the last 6 months for review by committee.
