Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship for Women-$10,000
This international scholarship program recognizes the work of Anita Borg, founder of the Institute for Women and Technology. Recipients are invited to attend the annual Google Scholars’ Retreat in San Francisco.
Eligibility:
- Must maintain a strong academic record
- Must major in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
- Demonstrate leadership potential and interest in furthering the involvement of women in computer science fields

Nancy Foster Scholarship- $42,000
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Dr. Nancy Foster Scholarship Program provides support for master’s and doctoral studies in oceanography, marine biology, maritime archaeology and all other science, engineering, social science and resource management disciplines involving ocean and coastal areas particularly by women and members of minority groups.
Eligibility:
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or citizen or a U.S. territory
- Applicant must pursue or intend to pursue a masters or doctoral degree in oceanography, maritime archeology, or marine biology, including all science, engineering and resources management of the ocean and coastal areas
- Must be attending a U.S. accredited institution
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better,
- Must maintain full time status for the duration of the scholarship award

Every student in the United States has the power to change the country.
Eligibility:
- Student must be currently enrolled at an accredited university in the United States
- Applicant must be a citizen of the United States, or have a valid green card
- International students studying in the U.S. ARE eligible, but they must demonstrate their intention to stay in the country after graduation and see through their change – making agenda

Hartford Technology IT Scholarship-$1,000
Hartford Technology Rentals has been in the short term technology rental business for over 25 years. They feel that it is important to give back.
Eligibility:
- Student must be studying IT or related fields
- Student must be enrolled full time
- Must be an undergraduate Junior or Senior level student
- Must have a low or moderate income economic background
- Must be a resident of the United States
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or better

Jerry Minore Memorial Ag Scholarship
The National Wheat Foundation (NWF) has again partnered with BASF to award four students who have a personal connection to the wheat industry and a planned career path in agriculture the Jerry Minore Memorial Scholarship. In its fourth year, the Jerry Minore Memorial Scholarship honors both high school and college students who have demonstrated success in academics and leadership roles.
Eligibility:
- Student must be a freshman, sophomore or junior pursuing an agricultural-related degree
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, junior or community college
- Must be a member of the National Association of Wheat Growers; have a close relative who is a member, or be nominated by someone sitting on the NAWG Board of Directors or a state wheat association board
Must be postmarked on or before Dec. 11, 2015
Guerra Dental Scholarship Essay Contest- $1,500
The essay winner selected will receive a $1500 scholarship.
