Over the past decade, the Dr. Alma S. Adams Scholarship for Outreach and Health Communications to Reduce Tobacco Use Among Priority Populations has recognized students for their commitment to community service and use of the creative arts to raise awareness of tobacco’s harmful impacts in disproportionately affected communities.

Eligibility:

• Tobacco related community service in support of an underserved population disproportionally affected by tobacco described in personal statement
• SAR report
• minimum GPA of 2.0

The Portland Chapter of CFMA awards scholarships to students with accounting, finance, or construction management majors. All students who apply by the deadline and meet the minimum requirements specified in the instructions are eligible for these scholarships. Increase student awareness of CFMA and careers in the construction industry, and promote education for employees of member firms who are pursuing accounting, finance, or construction management degrees.

Eligibility:  

• Enroll in an eligible Oregon/SW Washington Colleges or Universities as a full-time student.
• Enroll in either a Bachelors or advanced degree program in finance, accounting or construction management or have a declared finance, accounting or construction management major.
• Demonstrate a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Submit a current transcript from the Colleges or Universities attended thus far.
• Submit your current resume.
• Submit 2 letters of recommendations, with one academic and one from the business community (letters cannot be from a member of the applicant’s immediate family).

North Coast Financial is pleased to offer scholarships to current full-time college students who are pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance or other Business related degree. Submit an essay on the following topic: Describe your career aspirations and your reason for pursuing a business-related degree.

• Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2
• Must be an American citizen
• Must be full-time student
• Pursuing a degree in real estate, finance or other business related degree
• Student must be able to provide proof of GPA requirement and full-time student status

2018 North Coast Financial Scholarship

A $9,500 scholarship will be awarded to a deserving undergraduate student who is studying horticulture or a related field such as landscape architecture or horticultural therapy and whose horticulture career goals involve teaching/research, sustainable agriculture or work in the public or nonprofit sector.

Eligibility:

• Applicants must have completed two full years of college.  Students entering their 3rd/Junior, 4th/Senior, or 5th year in a 5-year undergraduate program are eligible also.
• Student applicants must be attending an accredited college or university in the United States.
