Every year, BCMGA awards a scholarhisp for the purpose of encouraging and enhancing  post-secondary, academic study of horticulture, botany, and plant science.

Eligibility:

  • Student must be a matriculated, registered student at Linn-Benton Community College or Oregon State University.
  • Student must have declared a  major in botany, horticulture, and/or plant science.
  • Student must have completed at least 24 college credits
  • Student must have demonstrated interest and involvement in activities relevant to the goals of the Benton County Master Gardeners.

Coos County High School graduates/equivalent AND/OR current legal Coos County resident/s, to further their education by obtaining a degree in a plantrelated field. The field of study might include agriculture, biology, botany, biochemistry, entomology, forestry, horticulture, or landscape design.

Mr. and Mrs. West intended the WEST SCHOLARSHIP FUND to provide as much help as possible to the largest number of eligible and deserving students from Klamath County.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a graduate of a high school in Klamath County
  • Student must be a U.S. citizen or hold a permanent resident card
  • Student must be working toward a baccalaureate degree or an academic award or certificate of an undergraduate nature offered by any college, university, technical or vocational school.
  • Have a need for financial assistance in obtaining further education
  • Student’s term GPA must be at least 2.10
  • Student’s cumulative GPA if he/she is a:
    • Freshman or Sophomore: 2.35
    • Junior or Senior: 2.50
    • Technical students: 2.50
    • Vocational Students: compliance with vocational program criteria
  • Student must be enrolled in at least 12 credits per term

Ellice T. Johnston was an inspiration and guiding light. In her memory Clayfolk has created this annual scholarship so that the support she provided to so many can live on in her honor. The purpose of the scholarship is to further ceramic art students education through upper division college or art school courses, workshops through accredited institutions, and study abroad through accredited institutions.

Eligibility:

  • Two years of college or equivalent level of art education which  may include sculpture, drawing, design, etc. and the study of aesthetics or technical ceramics.
  • The applicant must be a resident or student in Oregon or Northern California.
  • Financial need is a consideration but will not restrict the selection of the applicant.

CFMA seeks to award scholarships to high-achieving students with majors in accounting, finance, or construction management, increase student awareness of CFMA and careers in the construction industry, and promote education for employees of member firms who are pursuing accounting, finance, or construction management degrees.

The Pacific Forest Foundation (PFF) scholarship program is offered to students who are studying in forestry related areas. PFF will accept applications starting on January of each year. The applications must be received in the PFF office no later than May 1st of the same year. The PFF plans to awards 5 to 10 scholarships annually; scholarships ranges from $1,000 to $3,000 each.
