The majority of our team here at DallasCarAccidentLawyers.net has seen how drastically cancer can change a life. We know that the affects of a diagnosis are usually life altering, and the treatment process is often an uphill battle in itself. In knowing this, we still believe that cancer should not be an impediment to fulfilling a person’s hopes and dreams. Which is why we want to help a student who has been affected by cancer complete their college education and embark on a path towards a career in the filed of their choice.

Eligibility:

  • You or a loved one has been diagnosed with cancer (any type)
  • You have been accepted to or are currently enrolled in an accredited university in the U.S. (Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply)
  • You have a minimum 3.0 GPA

John Foy Strong Arm Leukemia Essay Scholarship- $1,000

Fighting a disease requires more than a legal “Strong Arm”-it requires a dedicated team of medical staff, loved ones and countless more. Fighting leukemia requires determination, drive and diligence in both the patient and the patient’s loved ones. Often, the battle is a solitary one, isolating the patient and family. The John Foy & Associates “Strong Arm” Leukemia Scholarship in time to honor Leukemia month in September. Our $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one college student who has battled leukemia or whose life has been affected by it.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant or an applicant’s loved one has been affected by leukemia
  • Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate OR
  • Must be an incoming freshman at an accredited institution in the United States

Eligibility:

Hawkins Spizman Kilgo, LLC is pleased to announce our Childhood Cancer Awareness Scholarship, in support of those who have survived or been directly affected by childhood cancer. This $1,000 scholarship will support one hard-working student who has had firsthand experience with this devastating disease.

Eligibility:

  • You are currently enrolled in or have been accepted to an accredited college or university (undergraduate or post-graduate level)
  • You are either a survivor of childhood cancer yourself or a loved one has been directly affected by childhood cancer
  • You have a minimum 2.8 GPA
  • You must submit an official copy of your transcript, your written essay (see below) and your completed application using the form
