Support Sobriety Scholarship- $1,000

In honor of “National Recovery Month” in September, BLVD Treatment Centers has launched a $1,000.00 “Support Sobriety Scholarship” for college students aimed at promoting sobriety and substance abuse awareness. To apply, students must write a 500-word essay convincing a real or hypothetical friend or loved one to check into a treatment center.

Eligibility:

  • No major requirement

The Advocates Scholarship- $1,000

There will be one award of $1,000 for the Spring semester, and one award of $1,000 for the Fall semester.

What are some of the daily problems we face on the roads? What laws could be changed to accomplish that goal? How can you contribute to improving road safety?

SonoBoom Annual Scholarship- $1,000

We have created the SonoBoom Gadgets Scholarship for undergraduate and postgraduate students with the passion of “Gadgets” to receive $1,000 award.

Eligibility:

  • Either be enrolled as a full-time student (both undergraduate and postgraduate) in an accredited University or College or be able to present a legitimate letter of acceptance from an accredited University or College.
  • No limit in nationalities.
  • Applicants must hold an overall 3.0 GPA.

Closetbox Entrepreneur Scholarship- $5,000

Education is vital for the young minds starting the businesses of tomorrow, and we want to help keep bright young people in school through to the end with a financial boost. Thus, we have created the $5000 Closetbox Entrepreneur Scholarship.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a current college/university student in good standing with the institution (passing GPA, bills paid). High school and graduate school students are not eligible.
  • Must have demonstrable need. (If you already have a full ride, you don’t need our sweet cash.)
  • Must have an idea, invention, business, website, app, or the like that you have created as a functioning business, tool, application, blog, etc. We are looking to award the self-starter who has already proven his/her ability to take an idea and turn it into something real and functioning.

Soroptimist Live Your Dream Award- $1,000

Soroptimist is a volunteer organization for women committed to improving the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. This award is an opportunity for a woman who is the primary financial support for their family, who needs financial assistance, is enrolled in or has been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program, and is a resident to Linn County, to win.

Air Force Health Professions Scholarship

The Air Force Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) can help you finish your D.O. or M.D. program and achieve your goals without financial worries. They offer two-year, three-year, and four-year scholarships. With the HPSP scholarship you can attend the accredited school of your choice and we’ll cover the expenses. That means all tuition; books, supplies and equipment lab fees are all paid. Additionally, you will receive a $2,178 monthly stipend for living and personal expenses.

The Commitment

They ask in return a commitment to serve on active duty A n Air Force officer with a year-for-year plus one repayment (minimum of three). Their D.O. and M.D. work with state-of-the-art equipment and enjoy and outstanding consultation network with their military and civilian counterparts.

Specialties Covered by the Subject include: Family nurse practitioner, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner/specialist, Nurse Anesthetist, Nurse Midwife, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
