Houzz is the largest platform for residential design, with a community of over 1 million active professionals and 40 million users. From conception, Houzz has worked alongside architects, interior designers and landscape architects to build a digital platform that enables them to improve and grow their business. Now through Houzz Scholarships we are looking to support the education of the next generation of practicing professionals.

Eligibility:

  • We welcome all students 17 years of age or older
  • Currently enrolled or plan to enroll in interior design, architecture, landscape architecture, or architectural engineering programs.

The Future of Bariatric Surgery Scholarship- $1,000

More than one out of every three people in the U.S. are considered obese, which is taking a massive toll on the health and quality of life for people with obesity and on the nation’s healthcare costs. To increase awareness and encourage new activity and insight into the field, Bariatric Surgery Source is pleased to offer a bi-annual (January and August) $1,000 college scholarship (totaling $2,000 per year).

Eligibility:

  • Currently majoring in any medically-related degree or attending any medically-related certification program.
  • Students of any age – scholarships are not restricted to graduating high school seniors, high-school graduates, undergraduates, or graduate students.
  • Attending (or accepted by) school full-time (as defined by the educational institution) at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university, or vocational-technical school located in the U.S.

Because of our commitment to support education, Adze Ybrant is proud to sponsor an annual $3,000 Marketing Scholarship. There will be 3 prizes. One of $1500, one of $1000, and one of $500.

Eligibility:

  • 18 years or older.
  • A student enrolled full-time in a U.S or Canadian institution for graduate or undergraduate program. (U.S. territories are excluded)

Veterinary Student Scholarship Award- $500

Applicants with a proven academic record, financial need and experience in animal advocacy, in particular combatting animal cruelty. This scholarship focuses on the need for future veterinarians to engage with and educate the public in order to help bring an end to animal cruelty and to champion new and better standards for the humane treatment of all animals.

Eligibility:

  • Academic criteria: open to year 1 through year 4 students currently enrolled in a veterinary medicine program in the US.
  • Personal statement: should illustrate the applicant’s personal commitment to animal advocacy.
  • Financial criteria: applicants are required to briefly explain how they would benefit from scholarship award.
  • Students who are pursuing a doctor of veterinary medicine degree or who have a doctor of veterinary medicine degree and are currently enrolled in a postgraduate academic program in the field of veterinary medicine. Dual-degree students (DVM/PhD, DVM/MS, DVM/MPH) may also apply.

Ashwood Recovery Scholarship- $1,000

Students attending a two or four-year university program may apply for ashwood recovery’s  $1,000 college scholarship by following the instructions below. Ashwood Recovery specializes in working with adults and adolescents struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. While we work to help people in recovery, we also would like to help those who seek the benefits of higher education.
Eligibility:

  • Are enrolled in post-secondary education in the upcoming semester
  • Are not a Ashwood Recovery employee or related to an employee of Ashwood Recovery
  • Age 18 and older
