Undocumented residents who meet certain qualifications are now eligible to apply for scholarships from The Ford Family Foundation.

Eligibility:

Applicants in Oregon must meet the eligibility requirements of Oregon House Bill (HB) 2787 and Senate Bill (SB) 932, including:

  • Attended a Oregon high school for at least three years immediately preceding graduation or equivalent
  • Attended an elementary school or secondary/high school in a state or territory of the United States during each of the five years immediately prior to receiving a high school diploma, or equivalent
  • Graduated (or will graduate) from an Oregon high school or the equivalent
  • Applied for a federal individual taxpayer identification number or other official federal identification document
  • Show intention to become a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident

The Eastern Washington Section of the Society of Women Engineers and AREVA Inc. offer financial assistance. This scholarship provides financial assistance to individuals admitted to accredited undergraduate or graduate programs, in preparation for careers in engineering in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho states.  The scholarship is awarded annually to a qualified engineering student in the rising-sophomore or above classification in engineering fields.

Eligibility:

  • Completed at least one year of studies in an ABET accredited school with an intention to enter any engineering field.

The Portland Chapter of CFMA awards scholarships to students with accounting, finance, or construction management majors. All students who apply by the deadline and meet the minimum requirements specified in the instructions are eligible for these scholarships. Increase student awareness of CFMA and careers in the construction industry, and promote education for employees of member firms who are pursuing accounting, finance, or construction management degrees.

Eligibility:  

  • Enroll in an eligible Oregon/SW Washington Colleges or Universities as a full-time student.
  • Enroll in either a Bachelors or advanced degree program in finance, accounting or construction management or have a declared finance, accounting or construction management major.
  • Demonstrate a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Submit a current transcript from the Colleges or Universities attended thus far.
  • Submit your current resume.
  • Submit 2 letters of recommendations, with one academic and one from the business community (letters cannot be from a member of the applicant’s immediate family).

The Office of Military and Veteran Resources is proud to manage the selection and award of the the Class of ‘65 Service Member / Veteran Alumni and Descendants Educational Scholarship.  This scholarship is available to OSU alumni or former students who are honorably discharged veterans of or currently serving in the U.S. military (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard, including reserve components) or children or grandchildren of such veterans.

Eligibility:

  • Previously attended Oregon State University OR:
  • Received an honorable or general under honorable discharge from the service, or can provide military orders proving their current service OR:
  • Is the child or grandchild of those eligible under criteria 1. Children and grandchildren are not limited to biological children and grandchildren only.
  • Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating financial need and/or merit through academic ability, leadership, accomplishments, character, and community service. Need and merit will be given equal weight.  The second preference will be given to those eligible (or child or grandchild of such eligible persons) who have served in a theater of combat.
  • Selected recipients must be enrolled and attend classes at OSU, and be full time (minimum of 12 credits for undergraduates and 9 credits for graduate students) either solely at OSU, or in combination with OSU and community college partners.

The Office of Military and Veteran Resources and the College of Science are proud to manage the selection and award of the Mark & Vicki Hehnen Scholarship for Veterans in Science.  The scholarship may be awarded to an OSU undergraduate or graduate student (or a Degree Partnership undergraduate) pursuing a degree program within the College of Science who is an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Military.  This scholarship offers a minimum of $1,000 per year to help cover tuition, fees, books, and supplies charged to a recipient’s account at Oregon State University.

Eligibility:

  • Preference will be for student veterans with familial obligations and/or dependents.
  • Selected recipients must be enrolled and attend classes at OSU, and be considered a full time student (minimum of 12 credits for undergraduates and 9 credits for graduate students) either solely at OSU, or in combination with OSU and community college partners.
