Digital marketing Scholarship- $500

Clicks and Clients is thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to our community and students who are interested in becoming part of the ever-evolving, fast-growing industry of digital marketing. Essays are great, but video has been exploding on Facebook and other social media for quite some time. Knowing how to write is important, but being innovative and open minded is just as important when it comes to online marketing. Therefore, we chose video as the format for this scholarship.

Eligibility:

  • US citizen or permanent resident
  • Students must be currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year college
  • Open to full time students only – 12 or more credit hours at time of deadline
  • Open only to students working 20 hours or more per week.
  • Degree must be in business, public relations, marketing, communications or related field
  • High school senior if already accepted into a college program and who will be a full time student by deadline
  • Scholarship awards will be submitted directly to the college institution that matches the students .edu email address.

Smart Rain Scholarship- $1,000

For years, Smart Rain has focused on developing groundbreaking technology like smart controllers and maintenance services, which reduces needed manpower to observing water consumption and maintaining lawns and vegetation. These results save time, water, and money.

Depending on the semester, applicants must answer one of the following questions:

Fall semester

Why is fresh water so important and if we don’t preserve fresh water what will/could be the impact?

Spring semester

How do you believe technology and technology automation can make an impact in your schooling, community and general life?

For spring semester, write an essay explaining how technology will improve your studies and learning experience; the essay should be 500 words or less. For fall semester, create a one-minute video sharing your insights about using technology to pursue your career and to help colleagues and clients.

Deadline: For Fall term- August 15, For Spring term- December 15

Altrusa Continuing Education Scholarship- $1,000

The Altrusa Continuing Education Scholarship is a nonrenewable $1,000 award sponsored by the Altrusa Club of Corvallis.

Eligibility:

  • Be an older than average student living in Benton County
  • Be returning to education after a break
  • Submit an unofficial transcript
  • Provide one letter of reference (not from a member of Altrusa)

Surgent Scholarships

The Surgent Professional Education Scholarship and Surgent CPA Student Scholarship is open to any currently-enrolled business students working towards an accounting major and currently attending an accredited college or university within the United States. Three winners will be chosen for this scholarship. First prize will receive $1,000, while two runners-up will receive $500 a piece.

“In your own words, describe the differences between management accounting and financial accounting, as well as why both are crucial to a successful business?”

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be a current student at an accredited college or university within the
    U.S.
  • Applicants must be studying to become an accountant
  • Applicants must have a minimum 2.8 GPA
  • Applicants must submit a copy of their transcript

Veterinarian Science Scholarship- $500

Northeast Animal Hospital and Pets In The City, our two veterinary practices in St. Petersburg, Florida, are pleased to offer the Veterinary Science Scholarship. This Scholarship is available in the United States to college students. Although the Scholarship will be presented to an enrolled college student, high school seniors who will be attending college in the fall are also welcome to apply.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be pursuing a degree related to veterinary science within the United States.
  • Applicant must plan to attend college by the fall semester.
  • Applicant must have a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0.

In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in various fields between China and other countries, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities. China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as CSC), entrusted by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China is responsible for the enrollment and the administration of Chinese Government Scholarship programs. INTO’s partner in China, Nankai University are now accepting CSC scholarship applications for their English medium graduate programs.

Eligibility:

  • Only open for American Citizens (students can hold dual nationality but must use their valid American Passport to make the application)
  • Students must hold a Bachelor’s degree* and be under the age 35 years old.

What Graduate Programs are offered?

  • Masters International Economics and Business
  • Maters International Affairs and Public Policy

Both masters degrees are 2 years in duration and are taught in English.  Please see attached for more information on the individual programs.

Deadline to apply for academic offer: 17th March 2017 (students are required to first hold a valid offer from Nankai to study before they can apply for CSC scholarship)

Eligibility:

  • Must be a student at an accredited university within the U.S.
  • Must be attending a 2- or 4- year college.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA must be 3.3/4.0.
  • Applicants must be in the process of applying to, or accepted for, a study abroad program that is eligible for credit from the student’s home institution.
