LGBT Liberation Essay Scholarship-$2,500

The LGBT Liberation Scholarship provided by My Bedroom Spice honors students courage in the face of adversity and discrimination by awarding $1,000 – $2,500 individual grants to LGBTQIA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and ally) activists who have transformed their experiences with bigotry and discrimination into opportunities to inspire others by taking action, rallying support, building community, and working to change the systems and institutions that impact their lives.

Eligibility:

  • Applicant must be at least 17 years of age
  • Student must be accepted to and/or attending a higher education program at an accredited institution of learning
  • Must be enrolled full time
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be attending an accredited US institution

K9 Carts Veterinary Scholarship- $1,000

K9 Carts is dedicated to serving handicapped dogs & cats worldwide and changing the lives for you and your pets through the miracle of mobility. Since the mid-1970s, K9 Carts has been dedicated to serving mobility impaired pets and their owners. Now, they are looking to inspire the next generation of animal lovers by sponsoring a $1000 scholarship for students entering the field of Veterinary Medicine.

Eligibility:

  • Minimum GPA requirement of 2.50
  • Student must be pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine or a related field
  • Applicant’s college or university must be an accredited United States institution

Nicholas Yust and his self-representing gallery in Cincinnati are proud to announce the first annual Yust gallery Scholarship Contest, with a theme of “How To Create.” $1,000 will be awarded to the winning student.
