Scholarship for Single Mothers-$1,000

The challenges associated with being a single mother can be significant. Childrearing, maintaining their household, and providing for themselves and their child(ren) can be daunting. Those challenges are even greater when the single mother wishes to further her education. Cognizant of those difficulties, we are offering educational scholarships to ease the burden of single motherhood for those whose aspirations include additional educational opportunities.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a single mother
  • Must be pursing a secondary or post secondary education

Breast Cancer Survivor Scholarship- $1,000

Nikko Cosmetic Surgery Center has announced that it will offer two $1,000 scholarships annually for breast cancer survivors. The scholarships are aimed at assisting breast cancer survivors in the pursuit of their educational goals.

Eligibility:

  • Must have been diagnosed with breast cancer
  • must be a U.S. citizen

David P. Shipiro Leukemia Scholarships-$1,000

The Law Office of David P. Shapiro has announced that will be offering two (2) scholarships annually, each one in the amount of $1,000, for people who have been diagnosed with leukemia.

  • Applicant must have been diagnosed with leukemia

Single Grain Scholarship- $500

Single Grain is offering a lending hand with a scholarship offer that is valued at $500. This scholarship will finalize and be awarded in August 2016. The full amount can be used for purchasing textbooks, tuition fees or any other strictly associated cost to studying at University or College.

Eligibility:

  • Must be accepted to or currently studying for their Diploma, Bachelor or Master’s degree at an accredited University or College
  • Must demonstrate a strong interest in development within their chosen field
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Students living in rural, non suburb/urban areas encouraged to apply

  • Applicant must be a Muslim or an active member of the Muslim community
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited US university by August
  • Student must be maintaining a min GPA of 3.0
  • Student must be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
  • Must be an undergraduate sophomore or above, or a graduate student
  • Student must be majoring in one of the following ISF supported majors
