Film Budgeteers believes in the empowerment of students of all ethnic backgrounds, but from where we sit, the Film Community is in dire need of more voices of color and more variety regarding talented young producers across the vast spectrum of gender. We recognize that pursuing a career in film or the visual arts can be a costly challenge for students of diversity, and we feel we can best do our part to encourage young filmmakers from diverse backgrounds and gender perspectives to take on the challenges of a film or visual arts education by offering a twice-annual scholarship fund of $2500 to any qualified students pursuing a 2- or 4-year college, graduate school, or trade training program.

Clackamas County, ranked fourth in agricultural sales in the state of Oregon, is also known for its abundance of natural resources, including popular recreational areas and drinking water source for the Portland metropolitan area. For this reason, the Clackamas Soil and Water Conservation District (CSWCD) is committed to supporting local students who care about our natural resources and wish to promote conservation, impacting future natural resource decisions. Our goal is to assist college students majoring in the field of agriculture, natural resource science, or a related discipline. The district is pleased to offer TWO – $3,000 scholarships for the 2018-19 school year.

The Eastern Washington Section of the Society of Women Engineers administers a $1000 scholarship funded by AREVA NP Inc.. AREVA NP created this scholarship to help ease the shortage of engineers. The Scholarship is awarded annually to qualified engineering student in the rising-sophomore or above classification in engineering fields.

Children who have lost a parent or had a parent seriously injured in an air medical or critical care ground transport accident are eligible for financial assistance through the MedEvac Foundation International’s Children’s Scholarship Fund. The Foundation will award two scholarships of $5,000 (one for a child who has a lost a parent in an air medical transport accident and one for child who has lost a parent in a critical care ground transport accident) to a deserving student entering or enrolled in college, university or vocational-technical school.
