Nationally, the US Air Force is seeking 100 undergraduate or graduate students who will graduate with technical degrees in the spring of 2018. On April 13th, to meet this goal, the Air Force announced scholarships covering 100% tuition/fees for the final year of study (2017-2018). These students would be commissioned as USAF officers, 2nd Lieutenants, upon graduation with a starting salary of approximately $50,000/year, increasing to $65,000/year after two years. The total commitment to service is 4 years. AF ROTC has academic agreements with each of your universities.  Classes are held on the Oregon State campus.

Eligibility:

Majors eligible for this scholarship program are:

  • Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Nuclear Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics

Other eligibility requirements include:

  • US Citizenship
  • Minimum CGPA of 2.5
  • Dept of Defense Medical Evaluation
  • Physical Fitness Test
  • Drug/Alcohol/Civil Involvement Screening
  • AF Officer Qualifying Test
