Cleva Peery wrote her 1909 thesis on <a href=\"http:\/\/oasis.oregonstate.edu\/record=b1464947~S13\">Desserts<\/a>, while Sadie Bell chose to focus on <a href=\"http:\/\/oasis.oregonstate.edu\/record=b1464405~S13\">Cereal breakfast foods<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And finally, while not a thesis, don&#8217;t miss <a href=\"http:\/\/oasis.oregonstate.edu\/record=b1197525~S13\">&#8220;Dame Curtsey&#8217;s&#8221; book of candy making, by Ellye Howell Glover<\/a>. Also look for the 1938 <a href=\"http:\/\/oasis.oregonstate.edu\/record=b1112761~S13\">The romance of candy<\/a>, by Alma H. Austin and the 1958 <a href=\"http:\/\/oasis.oregonstate.edu\/record=b2180268~S13\">All about candy and chocolate: a comprehensive study of the candy and chocolate industries<\/a>, by Philip P. Gott and L. F.
