Bylaws are rules adopted by an organization to govern how its business is conducted. As laws change and organizations grow, changes to the bylaws can be made. Depending on what type of change is required, these changes may be made through restating or amending the bylaws.
In December 2017 the OSUEA Bylaws were RESTATED to reflect reorganization of information from previous bylaws and updates needed to be in compliance with current information.
Important to remember:
As needed, check the Bylaws of the Association with the Articles of Incorporation to be sure there is agreement on any sections included in both documents.
As needed check to be sure the Bylaws of the Association are in agreement with established guidelines related to non-profits in Oregon.
