{"id":348,"date":"2015-02-26T23:42:51","date_gmt":"2015-02-26T23:42:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/osudistrictplan\/?p=348"},"modified":"2015-02-26T23:42:51","modified_gmt":"2015-02-26T23:42:51","slug":"city-initiates-legislative-amendment-comprehensive-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.blogs.oregonstate.edu\/osudistrictplan\/2015\/02\/26\/city-initiates-legislative-amendment-comprehensive-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"City Initiates Legislative Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>OSU had intended to submit an application for a new District Plan to the City in early April 2015; however, the City\u2019s legislative process will delay submittal of OSU\u2019s District Plan.<\/p>\n<p>On December 1, 2014, the Corvallis City Council initiated a legislative process to consider amendments to the City\u2019s Comprehensive Plan findings and policies related to OSU.\u00a0 On January 20, 2015, Mayor Biff Traber appointed three City Councilors and four Planning Commissioners to the OSU-Related Plan Review Task Force.\u00a0 This group is scheduled to start work in late-February to consider amendments to the OSU-related Comprehensive Plan findings and policies. \u00a0OSU is providing technical information and data to assist the task force as they evaluate the applicable findings and policies.\u00a0 The group is expected to complete their work efforts in April 2015, followed by public hearings before the Planning Commission and City Council.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a title=\"OSU-Related Plan Review Task Force Materials\" href=\"http:\/\/archive.corvallisoregon.gov\/Browse.aspx?dbid=0\">OSU-Related Plan Review Task Force Materials<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OSU had intended to submit an application for a new District Plan to the City in early April 2015; however, the City\u2019s legislative process will delay submittal of OSU\u2019s District Plan.
