OSU Homecoming Court
This year, the Oregon State University Alumni Association is proud to sponsor the 2018 Homecoming Court, which seeks to honor students who embody the spirit of a true Oregon Stater. Individuals will be selected by a panel of staff, faculty, alumni, and friends. Homecoming Court members will also receive a one-time $1,000 scholarship.

Health Professions Fair
Interested in a career in health care? Don’t miss the Health Professions Fair on Tuesday, April 24th!
Admissions representatives from more than 70 health professions schools in Oregon and across the country are attending the fair and eager to meet OSU students. The fair will be open 10:00am to 2:00pm in the MU Ballroom. Students from all majors are welcome at this free event. Programs represented include medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, public health, physician assistant, physical therapy, veterinary medicine, naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, biomedical sciences, occupational therapy, counseling, psychology, chiropractic, and more!
This event is appropriate for all students, from first-year through seniors. First-year and second-year students can explore health professions and schooling options, start building networks for the future, and get valuable advice and tips directly from the sources. Juniors and seniors can learn about specific programs, collect application information, and get advice on the application process.

The College of Public Health and Human Sciences will be holding meetings during the Spring 2018 term to get feedback on what it’s like to be an international student in our college. If you are a current international student interested in participating, please click here to select what times of the week work best for you. Note: The meetings will take place later in the spring term. We are only looking for your general availability Monday through Friday during the Spring 2018 term.

Strategists (NEW student staff position): ASC Strategists have worked to get to know the resources on campus, have compiled information on them, and are ready for you to come in with questions and to work with you to find just what you’re looking for. In addition to helping students locate resources, our Strategists can help you find study and learning tools and information on the Learning Corner, strategize with you to make your study group truly effective, and help you schedule a coaching appointment.
Drop-in Hours are Monday–Friday, 9 am–5pm in Waldo Hall, Room 125.

Research Study Opportunity
A graduate student from Concordia University is seeking 10-20 volunteers for her research study. The purpose of the study is to compare sense of community in college students with Celiac disease and college students without Celiac disease. The study is conducted online, anonymously, and takes less than 20 minutes. If you complete the study, you will be entered for a chance to win a $25 Amazon gift card!

Fulbright US Student Program
The U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board, in cooperation with the Institute of International Education, are pleased to announce the launch of the 2019-2020 Fulbright U.S. Student Program application.
The US Student Program offers fellowships for U.S. graduating college seniors, graduate students, and early career professionals to study, conduct research, and/or teach English abroad for six months to a year. In addition, Critical Language Enhancement Awards are given to grantees for study of critical-need foreign languages before or during their grant period.
In addition to hundreds of traditional study and research grants, the Fulbright U.S. Student Program currently offers more than 1,000 Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship awards to over 70 countries.
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program selects participants through a competitive, merit-based application process, and offers several benefits during the period of the grant. These include funding for round-trip travel, living expenses for one academic year, and healthcare benefits.
Applicants to the Fulbright U.S. Student Program must be U.S. citizens and hold a bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent) by the beginning of the grant period. Individuals may be, but are not required to be, currently enrolled in a college or university at the time of application. Early career professionals in a range of fields, including artists, are eligible and encouraged to apply.

OSU Healthy Aging Club
Students from all disciplines are encouraged to attend the OSU Healthy Aging Club meetings. This unique club offers students a chance to learn about careers in aging, interact with elders in our community, and gain experience for graduate school or work beyond college.
