Coming Spring Term: Plan for a PIN
Starting Spring term 2017, all students must have an approved Fall 2017 term course plan on file in MyDegrees in order to receive a PIN to register for FALL 2017 classes. First-year students will receive their Winter and Spring term PINs at First-Year Workshops or during individual advising appointments.
You can call 541-737-8900 to schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor, or you can submit this plan electronically.

Office of Student Success Contest
This week the Office of Student Success is holding a drawing contest! The prizes are CPHHS-themed canvas bags, vests, 16-GB flash drives, and more! To enter, submit your name, the name of your assigned CPHHS academic advisor, and your phone number. Deliver it in person to Women’s Building 105 or email it to phhs.peer@oregonstate.edu. Deadline is this Friday, Feb. 24th, at 5pm; winners will be announced on Feb. 28.
Coming Soon to the Office Student Success:
Beginning March 13th, CPHHS will be moving to Online Appointment Scheduling. Students will be able to schedule their own appointments with their CPHHS academic advisor. More information is forthcoming.
Research Opportunity:
The Research Office is accepting applications for the Undergraduate Research, Innovation, Scholarship and Creativity (URISC) Program for Summer 2017 and Fall, Winter and/or Spring term(s) 2017-18. This program supports undergraduate research activities from all academic disciplines within the university. Program description and application. Deadline for application: Monday, April 10, at 5 pm.
Honor Society:
Mortar Board Senior Honor Society is currently accepting applications for membership for the 2017-2018 school year! The minimum requirements for membership:
- Have completed at least 120 credits by the end of winter term
- Be a full-time (12+ credits) student at the Corvallis campus during the 2017-2018 school year
- Have at least a 3.0 cumulative OSU GPA
- Be interested in participating in service projects throughout the year

Nutrition Health Information Study:
Nutrition interns are currently conducting research and need participants! Those who fully participate can earn $30 cash. This research explores college students’ perceptions and ideas about nutrition information sources. The research requires students to fill out a 10-question survey and participate in a 90-100 minute focus group. Participants must be OSU students, at least 18 years old, comfortable conversing in English, majoring/minoring in a major other than Nutrition, and available on March 3 between 10am and 2pm. Job Opportunity for Winter Term Graduates:
The School of Social and Behavioral Health Sciences (SoBe) invites applications for a part-time (0.25 FTE), 12-month, Faculty Research Assistant position. The position will be responsible for coordinating recruitment and data collection for an NIH-funded research study that involves conducting qualitative interviews with survivors of breast, prostrate, and lung cancer in rural Oregon. This position will also participate in conducting interviews, data management, data analysis, and preparation of publications and presentations, among other duties. For more details, see the posting.
