Highlights
OSS Online Appointment Scheduling:
Our new online appointment scheduling system, TimeTrade, is now available to all students with an active ONID username and password to make appointments.
TimeTrade allows students to:
- Schedule an appointment with their assigned academic advisor at http://health.oregonstate.edu/advisors.
- Schedule a 15-minute, 25-minute, or 50-minute appointment based on the type of appointment needed.
- Schedule an appointment up to 6 weeks in advance.
- Schedule, reschedule, or cancel an appointment 24/7 online.
- Schedule a same-day appointment if an appointment is made by 8am.
Students receive:
- A confirmation notification email in their ONID inbox, upon the initial appointment creation. Students also receive a rescheduling or cancellation notification email, upon those events.
- An appointment reminder email 24 hours prior the appointment. If a student schedules an appointment less than 24 hours in advance, they do not receive an email reminder.
- An Outlook and iCal appointment file upon the initial appointment creation. This syncs the appointment to the student’s calendar if applicable.
Please note that if you schedule an appointment with an advisor other than your assigned advisor, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment. If you do not know who your assigned advisor is, you can log in to MyDegrees, which lists your assigned advisor, or you can call us at 541-737-8900, and we will be happy to help you.

Special reception with CPHHS alumna Charlene McGee, OSUAA Young Alumni Award recipient
Please come out and support Charlene, who will be receiving the Young Alumni Award. The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Charlene, deputy refugee health coordinator and program specialist with the Multnomah County Health Department (MCHD), will talk about her work experience, particularly her current role ensuring health care access to Portland’s refugee population, and how her education at OSU helped prepare her for her career. The reception is Friday, April 21, from 4-5pm, in the Bray Conference Room 115, in Hallie Ford Center.
“A Day’s Work” Movie Screening and Question/Answer Session
Film Summary: Ninety minutes before he was killed on his first day of work as a temporary employee, 21-year-old Day Davis texted a picture of himself to his girlfriend, excited for their future. Now Day’s sister, 17-year-old Antonia, searches for answers. An investigation reveals the issues that led to Day’s death and how the $100 billion temporary staffing industry is putting millions of American workers at risk.
This film touches on environmental and occupational health issues. The free movie screening is April 21, 6-8pm, in OSU’s Learning Innovation Center Room 128.
Earth Day of Service
This year, the Center for Civic Engagement invites you to join us on Saturday, April 22, for our annual Earth Day of Service. Oregon State students, staff, faculty, and their children/dependents are invited to participate in this event and celebration of planet Earth through community projects focused on environmental conservation and restoration. Beyond Earth Day celebration
OSU’s long-standing Earth Day celebration goes beyond the typical in Beyond Earth Day! Whether you’re interested in checking out more than 40 booths at the annual Community Fair, enjoying live music at the annual Organic Growers Club Hoo Haa, giving back through service, or marching in solidarity for science, this year’s Beyond Earth Day offers all that and much more!
