This is a gem of an original recipe. Mmmm, macadamia nuts. They are a decadently delicious gluten-free alternative for pancakes if you haven&#8217;t tried them yet. Nora is not deprived in the least.<\/p>\n<p>To mark the occasion I also made bacon. Mmmmm, bacon.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-723\" title=\"IMG_2250\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.oregonstate.edu\/oregonketokids\/files\/2012\/10\/IMG_2250-300x213.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"213\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For those keeping score at home, this meal was:<br \/>\n35 g Silver Dollar Pancake batter<br \/>\n16 g Wood Family Farm smoked bacon<br \/>\n10 g strawberries (warmed from frozen)<br \/>\n10 g raspberries (warmed from frozen)<br \/>\n15 g cream (1 T, spread on pancake)<br \/>\n1 gelatine Cytra heart + 1\/2 T cream<br \/>\nSleepytime Vanilla Tea (no carb)<\/p>\n<p>Nora licked her plate clean. The rest of us had buckwheat pancakes because macadamia nuts cost a fortune and I still had some mix to use.
