Van Drivers
If you are volunteering to drive a field trip van, you will get an email to confirm your ability to drive and assist in van pick-up. Please arrive by no later than 11:00 AM on Friday, October 4th. Please come directly to the OSU Motor Pool, located at 3200 SW Campus Way, Corvallis, OR 97331 to assist in picking up and transporting vans to our field trip departure location on the south side of the Memorial Union, along SW Jefferson Way. Participant staging and boarding vans will occur starting at 11:30 AM at the Student Experience Center Plaza, which is the outdoor covered area located to the east of the Memorial Union.
It is recommended that you get here early enough to find Metered parking in one OSU parking lots. Parking lot space is very limited near Motor Pool due to faculty and student use. On-street parking nearby is also limited, with one unlimited time area one block north of Motor Pool on NW Orchard Ave. All other on-street parking is limited to 2-hours.
Conference Volunteers
If you have volunteered to help during the Conference on Saturday, October 5th, you will receive details in an email soon from the Conference volunteer coordinator. On the day of the conference, please arrive at the Horizon Room Lounge, located on the Mezzanine level of the Memorial Union, during the check-in period (see schedule). You will receive materials, if any, that are part of your volunteer duties. If you are volunteering at the check-in table, someone will meet you there to get you set up right away at 7:30 AM.
