Where are you from?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Born and raised in San Dimas, California.\u00a0 Suburb of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Where did you attend college?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.\u00a0 My degree is in Agricultural Education.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite college memory?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Being an Ambassador.\u00a0 Our team was one of the first in the College and we had a great time promoting the college, helping with events and recruiting new students to be a part of our college.\u00a0 It was a leadership experience of a lifetime.<\/p>\n

What do you like most about OSU?<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are a top-tier research institution.\u00a0 We have outstanding and engaged students. It\u2019s a beautiful campus that stretches across the entire state of Oregon. We have the proud heritage of being a Land Grant University.\u00a0 What\u2019s not to LOVE about OSU?\u00a0 I love my job and enjoy coming to work each and every day.<\/p>\n

What kind of transportation did you use in college?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Feet.\u00a0 I drove a red Ford Ranger pick-up if I had a lab at one of the farms or wanted to head to the beach to study.\u00a0 But my feet were my primary mode of transportation\u2026<\/p>\n

What is your favorite agricultural commodity?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I cannot choose just one in a state that produces over 220 outstanding commodities!\u00a0 I will say pizza does a darn good job of combining some of those delectable ingredients in a thoroughly delightful way.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What is something that you enjoy doing in your free time?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m an Aunt!\u00a0 I like to do just about anything \u2013 as long as I\u2019m spending time with my family.\u00a0 (Shopping rates pretty high as a hobby as well!)\u00a0 And I am developing a love for photography\u2026 A growing passion and hobby that works well when you have totally handsome\/adorable nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n

Do you have any advice for students in the college of agricultural science?<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is the beginning of your career! Plan and execute wisely. Get involved.\u00a0 Study abroad.\u00a0 Follow through on commitments.\u00a0 Reach beyond your comfort zone. Network and develop professional connections. Look for new experiences. Join a club, run for an office. Enjoy your time in college, but understand that your college career is the foundation of your professional life.<\/p>\n
