OSU Strategic Plan Core Values
Small, diverse firms in Oregon that desire to do business with the State of Oregon, local and regional municipalities and state agencies, like Oregon State University, have the opportunity to certify their firm with COBID, Certification Office for Business Inclusion and Diversity. OSU spent over $7.5 million with certified firms last fiscal year and we continue to look for opportunities to do business with diverse firms to meet our needs.
Firms can submit their applications online and COBID Certification Specialists are available to offer support during the application process. As of June 2019, there were over 3,300 certified businesses in Oregon…be the next certified firm! Certification is FREE and benefits can include:

- Contracting opportunities targeted toward small firms
- Creates opportunities with prime contractors
- Networking opportunities and events
- Exposure – Sales and Marketing tool
- Education opportunities
- Access to mentor-protégé programs
