Hi Jade,
Thanks for all your good information. We have another question! We haven’t seen many bumble bees yet this year – it was warm earlier, but now still blustery and rainy. with lots of bloom, but very few pollinators, so some people are bringing honey bees over to help with pollination. The question is, with mummy berry wilted leaves already showing up in our field, are we better off with little to no pollinators versus many pollinators vectoring (spreading) the conidia. I saw a study that said there would be more problem with mummyberry with more pollinators, but another study (http://www.researchgate.net/publication/267889472_Friend_and_foe_blueberry_pollinators_as_mummy_berry_vectors) showed that bees didn’t interact much with the shoot strikes. We’d love your opinion. Also, are folks there still using Serenade at this time to continue to prevent mummyberry? We still have damp conditions here, so we are thinking it might be a good idea. Hope all is well, appreciate your blog, Cathy McDonald
