The Memorial Union (MU) Organization was re-structured following FY\u201917 budget\u00a0process. The MU, Student Leadership & Involvement (SLI) and Orange Media Network\u00a0(OMN) all became independent departments.<\/p>\n
The MU approved fee for FY\u201917 was $86.53 prior to the restructure. Post restructure,\u00a0this fee was split with the MU portion being $50.96 for FY\u201917. The AABC research all\u00a0revenue and expenses including salaries\/wages, OPE, program expenses and\u00a0assessments.<\/p>\n
The restructuring of the MU provided an opportunity for designing shared efficiencies\u00a0with other OSU departments.<\/p>\n
The wages, salaries, OPE revenue and expenses on several indexes were not able to\u00a0be separated for FY\u201917 due to the budget having been passed and new indexes\u00a0needing to be created.<\/p>\n
All units that have agreed to sharing personnel and services will have a newly created\u00a0Memorandum of Understanding. This document will formalize all fees, services and\u00a0expectations and be reviewed annually.<\/p>\n
The MU\u2019s FY\u201917 ad FY\u201918 budgets have all of the wages, salaries and OPE for\u00a0Maintenance, project management and custodial staff. The following facilities receive\u00a0these services but do not have these services reflected in their facilities expenses.\u00a0APCC, CCCC, Pride Center, NAL, Historic APCC, SEC, SEC Plaza, Child Care Center,\u00a0LBHCC. The Maintenance staff provide service to seven external restaurants run by\u00a0MU Retail Food Services.<\/p>\n
