About Nova Elwood

I was born in McCall, Idaho but have lived in many places including all over the Pacific Northwest, Utah, Nevada, Virginia, West Virginia, and upstate New York. I am proud to call Oregon home after moving here with my family in 2009. I started my journey into higher education in 2007 at Salt Lake Community College and finished my Bachelors degree in Nutrition with a Dietetics option at Oregon State University in 2014. I love everything about nutrition and have been fortunate to have a wide range of experiences in this field. I have worked in WIC clinics, hospitals, homeless shelters, gardens, and schools teaching everything from prenatal and infant nutrition to basic cooking skills. In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, knitting, cooking and eating, and spending time with my family.
