All Taylor & Francis sites will be unavailable for a period of two hours due to scheduled database maintenance. This will take place on Friday June 28, 6:30-8:30 PM PST.
ProQuest: Down for Maintenance (6/14-15)
Beginning on Saturday, June 14, 2014 ProQuest will make improvements to its internal systems to accommodate a growing number of users and to reduce the need for future downtime.
A thirteen hour (13) maintenance window is needed to perform these enhancements, lasting from June 14 at 7:00 PM PST through June 15 at 8:00 AM PST.
EBSCOhost Databases: Down for Maintenance May 30, 2014
On Friday, May 30, 2014, from 6:00 PM PST to 8:00 PM PST, EBSCOhost databases and services may be intermittently unavailable due to necessary network upgrades.

Trial Databases: SAGE Research Methods and SAGE Research Methods Cases
OSU Libraries is trialing two Sage products: Sage Research Methods (SRM) and Sage Research Methods Cases (SRMC).
The SRM database includes tools and content to help you design your research projects, plan your study, learn about numerous methodological approaches, gather data, and make sense of your findings. SRM contains more than 600 books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and handbooks as well as the entire Little Green Book (quantitative) and Little Blue Book (qualitative) series. SRM features a taxonomy of over 1400 methods terms and a Methods Map which visualizes relationships among methods terms, concepts, people, and literature.
SAGE Research Methods Cases is a collection of 500 case studies of real social research, specially commissioned and designed to help you understand abstract methodological concepts in practice. These case studies will complement your theoretical understanding by exploring the difficulties, nuances and real-life decisions that researchers face. SRMC has been carefully commissioned to match course content and to meet the needs of methods teachers, students and researchers, internationally. The collection is developed for use in class teaching or by students and researchers seeking applied understanding of research methods. Each case is equipped with learning outcomes and discussion questions to guide and support understanding. Users can search or browse the cases by subject (discipline), academic level, methods used, and by the topic covered by the case.

Trial Database: Reference Modules (RefMods) on ScienceDirect
Reference Modules (RefMods) on ScienceDirect combine thousands of related Elsevier reference work articles into one source of information. Articles in each RefMod title are continuously reviewed by a renowned Editorial Board, and changes are time-stamped as of the last review or update. Elsevier currently offers two subject-based modules:
- The Earth Systems and Environmental Sciences module contains over 3,800 articles including articles from 17 Elsevier major reference works and new and updated articles specially written for the module. Topics include renewable energy, ecology, geology, oceanography, geomorphology, water resources science and more.
- The Chemistry, Molecular Sciences and Chemical Engineering module contains over 4,300 articles including articles from 22 Elsevier Major Reference Works and new and updated articles specially written for the module. Trial Database: RAND State Statistics
RAND State Statistics contains nearly 400 Social Science databases and is made up of four sites, each with a specific geographic focus. RAND State Statistics contains nearly 200 databases that cover all 50 U.S. states; the other geographic locations include CA, NY, and TX.
Each geographic section provides databases covering 14 main categories: Population & Demographics; Environment, Resources & Weather; Health & Healthcare; K-12 Education; Business & Economics; Higher Education; Crimes, Prisons & Courts; Income, Expenditure, Wealth & Poverty; Labor Force, Employment & Earnings; Social Insurance & Human Services; Energy; Transportation & Travel; Federal Government; State & Local Government. Data sources include federal and state agencies.
The User Interface allows users to view, download, graph, and share data via social media and email.
