The process of creating a widget was difficult, but when it was all said and done it became a useful button that allowed me to get to articles that would create a direct connection. It took away the time to go to google and search for an article. The way I created my widget, was by going to google and creating a category that was useful, for example i used gender roles. Once i did that it was easy to find the RSS at the bottom of the page. The hardest part was realizing that i just had to copy the link. After that it was some sailing when actually finishing the widget.
