They can be used to capture historical events or a series of steps that occur in specific order, for example, a lab activity.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/timeline.verite.co\/\" target=\"_blank\">TimelineJS<\/a> is an easy to use online tool that allows you to create a timeline by pulling in various types of online media such as video, images, and maps from easy to integrate sites such as <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\" target=\"_blank\">Flickr<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/maps.google.com\" target=\"_blank\">Google Maps<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vimeo.com\" target=\"_blank\">Vimeo<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vine.co\" target=\"_blank\">Vine<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymotion.com\" target=\"_blank\">Dailymotion<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wikipedia.org\" target=\"_blank\">Wikipedia<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.soundcloud.com\" target=\"_blank\">SoundCloud<\/a>.
