Ford Fellowships<\/a> seek to increase the diversity of the nation’s college and university faculties and are awarded to graduate students who are planning a career in teaching and research at the college or university level. In addition to funding stipends and allowances for predoctoral, dissertation, and postdoctoral research, the fellowship also\u00a0underwrites awardees’ attendance at the annual<\/p>\nIn addition to funding stipends and allowances for predoctoral, dissertation, and postdoctoral research, the fellowship also supports awardees to attend\u00a0the annual Conference of Ford Fellows, a unique national conference of a select group of high-achieving scholars committed to diversity in higher education as a way to enrich the education of all students.<\/p>\n
