These applications are important for global climate and energy studies. Her research team has created <a href=\"http:\/\/www.math.oregonstate.edu\/~mpesz\/documents\/publications\/P14.pdf\"><span class=\"s2\">interdisciplinary training<\/span><\/a> for graduate and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.math.oregonstate.edu\/~mpesz\/images\/Peszynska_UHC.pdf\"><span class=\"s2\">undergraduate students<\/span><\/a> and developed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.math.oregonstate.edu\/amc_seminar\"><span class=\"s2\">new courses and seminars<\/span><\/a> devoted to modeling, analysis, and simulation of processes relevant to global energy and climate issues across <a href=\"http:\/\/www.math.oregonstate.edu\/~mpesz\/documents\/publications\/PSY14.pdf\"><span class=\"s2\">multiple spatial and time scales<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p
