While diligently studying for that calculus or chemistry course this fall, don’t forget about your career. The College of Science and the Career Development Center have partnered together to support you with your individual career goals.
We have a wide variety of resources at the Career Development Center to help you with every step of the planning process. Sometimes, you just need professional help. We can help you choose a major, find the right internship, start your job search, develop a resume for science and industry jobs, draft a compelling cover letter that highlights your skills, make connections with alumni and more.
Check out these fall events to help you plan your career in science, or schedule an appointment to meet with us today.
LIFT Science
We are launching a new career development program, LIFT Science (Leverage Inclusion for Thriving) that offers monthly roundtable discussions about disparities in the science workforce, including gender, race, ethnicity, family income, sexual orientation and nontraditional lifestyles, etc. All students are welcome to join these discussions.
LIFT Science kicks off on October 10 with a discussion on “Celebrating our Differences,” by Julie Greenwood, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies.
