Conversations with Diverse Teachers

Lisa Trottier has much experience with the Hydroville Curriculum Project. Prior to teaching at South Umpqua High School in Myrtle Creek, she worked at Westview High School in Beaverton where she piloted the Indoor Air Quality and Water Quality Curricula with a team of teachers. Her feedback and experiences contributed greatly. Topics of interest: public high school science, team teaching, Water Quality, Indoor Air Quality, and Pesticide Spill Curricula.

Linda Barry has over 31 years of teaching experience. She has taught chemistry for 20 years at Skyview High School in Vancouver, WA. Last year she taught the Water Quality Scenario. After all of these years she has finally found a curriculum that has great value for both her as a teacher and the students. She has been involved with the Hydroville Curriculum Project for five years and has much to share about using this curricula in an alternative school setting. She won a EPA Tools for Schools Program Award in 2005 and shares her experience.
