The Oregon State Research Office announced the winners of the Undergraduate Research, Innovation, Scholarship and Creativity (URISC) Winter /Spring 2014-15 solicitation. Mechanical Engineering and University Honors College student Judy Jiang, advised by Dr. Yigit Menguc, received an URISC award to conduct research on “Designing and Fabricating Artificial Muscles for Soft Robotics.” Ms. Jiang was the youngest of the nine award winners, and the only College of Engineering student to be selected. Congratulations!
